Tennessee student and teacher who kidnapped her caught in California

The missing Tennessee teenager and the teacher who is accused of kidnapping her have both been found and captured by California law enforcement officers on Thursday. Authorities confirm that former teacher, Tad Cummins, was arrested in Siskiyou County, California. 15-year-old Elizabeth Thomas was found unharmed and will be returned to her family back in Tennessee. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said the two have been on the run since March 13, after students reported the pair kissing in a classroom. Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Director Mark Gwyn Cummins now faces charges of sexual contact with a minor and aggravated kidnapping.
