Three CEOs resign from Trump council over Charlottesville

The chief executives of Intel, Merck, and Under Armour have left Trump's advisory council over the president’s response to Charlottesville. “I resigned from the council to call attention to the serious harm our divided political climate is causing to critical issues...,” Intel chief executive Brian Krzanich said in a blog post. Kevin Plank, the CEO of Under Amour, said he was leaving to "focus on inspiring and uniting through the power of sport. Trump's initial response to the violence in Charlottesville prompted criticism, as he denounced violence “on all sides.”
